Testimonials
Khaleesi Gaines
In June 2020, our cat Khaleesi started having skin flare ups which would lead to loss of fur around his eyes and chin from excessive itching and scratching. As months went on, his flare ups kept getting worse and the only solution the Veterinarian gave us was a Depo-Medrol injection, which did help him temporarily. The excessive itching and scratching would eventually leave him furless with raw bloody skin around the eyes and chin and since September 2020, I found myself taking Khaleesi to the Vet every 8-10 weeks for a Depo-Medrol injection; this went on for two years. In June 2022, Khaleesi went in for his first visit at Miami Veterinary Dermatology with Dr. Rosales and I was impressed with the thorough examination given and how comforting everyone was. Shortly after his first visit, a biopsy gave us a diagnosis and allowed us to finally help him heal by finding the right treatment for a long-term solution. In less than 3 months after his first visit, Khaleesi’s quality of life improved dramatically, and he has maintained a healthy coat and has been itch free. Khaleesi has been living his best life since becoming Dr. Rosales furry patient and my entire family is thankful and grateful for her and the entire staff at Miami Vet Dermatology. Dr. Rosales is our Superhero, and I honestly can’t thank her enough for all that she has been able to do for Khaleesi.

Maggie Alvarez

Maggie had been suffering since puppyhood from what we at first thought were fleas. She was always covered in itchy, pink welts, and she could hardly sleep from biting and scratching at them. Finally, we took her to see Dr. Rosales. We went through the food trial, allergy tests, and allergy shots. It took months to reach stability, but not so long to see gradual improvement. Now that Maggie has been getting her shots for over a year, she rarely has a flare-up. Her skin is free of welts, and she never bites or scratches any part of her body. We watch what she eats, make sure she isn’t exposed to any known allergens, and give her a small shot just once every three weeks now. She is safe and happy, and so are we. We will always be grateful to Dr. Rosales for her wisdom, dedication, and patience. She truly cares about all her patients and is always there to answer questions and give advice and encouragement. Maggie is one lucky dog, and we are truly blessed to have her and Dr. Rosales in our lives.

Coco Delgado

My dog started treatment with Dr. Rosales almost 5 months ago and his improvement has been dramatic to say the least. Prior to my dog starting treatment with Dr. Rosales, I had exhausted all avenues of different treatments with different doctors to no avail. I had lost any expectations of him getting better.
Dr. Rosales was a blessing for my Coco, he has been in treatment for his skin ailments and the improvement has been substantial. Currently his coat is growing back, his hair is smoother and he is starting to look like his old self.
I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to Dr. Rosales for all her dedication, persistence in finding the correct treatment for my fur baby, she is definitely a godsend.
Thanks so much Dr. Rosales for all your help!
Duke Morales

Duke had spent almost 2 years in misery going to the vet and trying different medications, but no real diagnosis or effective treatment had been found. After just one visit with Dr. Rosales, she was able to properly diagnose and start treatment for Duke’s skincare. Dr. Rosales also effectively placed Duke on a strict diet which helped tremendously. He is now happy as can be and he hasn’t had any flare-ups!
Biggie Smalls Rivera

Dr. Millie Rosales, has a been a wonderful veterinary dermatologist. She was highly recommended by our veterinarian. From the first visit, she gave me so many answers with Biggie Smalls’ itchiness and gnawing of the paws. She knew exactly what medicine and treatment to put him on. Within a few weeks to months he was doing so much better. Her knowledge and expertise is amazing and it just shows with Biggie’s skin/coat improvement. Both myself and Biggie thank her and her lovely staff.
Bo Parker

I don’t even know where to begin to express my gratitude to you Dr. Rosales. My sweet boy Bo got very sick very fast this past January. He has many allergies and had an allergic reaction to a medicine he was given. So much of his skin was raw and just looked awful. He felt so bad. Dr Rosales knew exactly what to do and took charge of the treatment needed to cure him. It was a long treatment (3-4 months) but he is back to been himself and I actually think better than before!! His skin is in great condition and he looks beautiful, I can tell he feels great too! Thank you Dr Rosales for your knowledge, compassion and genuine concern, I don’t know what would’ve happened if I had not find you. I hope you understand how grateful I am to you for saving my boy. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much to Nicole for always greeting us with a smile and loving my Bo so much! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Rosales.

Bela Hernandez

Taking Bela our Bull Terrier to Dr. Rosales was the best decision we could make. Bela had a very bad skin condition due to her being allergic to a ton of things. After having been treated with the proper allergy shots Bela is down to 1 shot a month and barely any flare ups. I am super happy with the results.
Zar Sisalema

This testimonial is a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude with Dr. Rosales. She is an excellent Vet dermatologist, very profesional, and was accurate with the diagnosis and treatment of our dog. Zar is a 4 years old Siberian Husky, very friendly, energetic, who has brought happiness and love to our family. The first time we went to Dr. Rosales’s office, Zar was very sick, with several painful sores, loss of appetite, and unable to walk. She took a skin biopsy and 2 days later called me to say that he has an autoimmune skin condition that requires an strict medical treatment and follow up. Dr. Rosales has been taking care of his skin for about 1 year, and nowadays, he looks healthy and happy again. We are very thankful with Dr. Rosales and Nicole for all their kindness and caring of Zar, and the support they gave us every time we need it.
Toby Swett

Excellent care and service. Dr. Rosales is very knowledgeable. We brought our dog, Toby, as a first time patient to Miami Veterinary Dermatology and we were very impressed with the level of care provided by Dr. Rosales and her staff. Our dog had a canine papilloma virus and after we had seen many specialists, she was the only one able to treat it and solve his problem. We are very happy with Dr. Rosales service and we would recommend her with no doubt.
Obama Belloni

“After turning one year old, Obama, our Frenchie started having skin issues. He was itchy, had fur loss and his ear scratching became more and more constant. It didn’t seem painful but it was really stressful for our puppy. We went to several different vets and after some pills, the breakouts were controlled. However only for a couple of months until he became itchy again. When moving to Miami, a friend recommended us to see Dr. Millie Rosales and following her instructions we decided to do an allergy test. A customized vaccine facing just his needs was developed for Obama. It has been more than two years since we started this treatment and from there on no more itches. On top of that, her staff including Miriam and Nicole were always very attentive.”
Nukka Pasternak
I’ve been going to this center since 2013 and wouldn’t change it for anything. We love Dr. Rosales, she’s always been very assertive as to what goes on with Nukka, our Akita. He’s always done really well under her care and guidance and we’ve been able to keep him happy and healthy thanks to her. Her assistant loves Nukka and he is always really happy to see her. She always remembers us and is always very nice. I would really recommend this center to anyone with pets that suffer from skin conditions.

Maya Friedman

Dear Dr. Rosales & Staff,
I just wanted to thank you for your expertise and knowledge on treating my dear Maya’s condition last year. She had a perianal fistula that I was told by many resources is very hard to treat and get excellent results. Due to your diagnosis and treatment of her condition she has made as close to a recovery as humanly possible. Maya is on the left side of picture.
Thank you for everything.
Orso

“I want to send a HUGE shout out to Dr. Millie Rosales and her awesome team at Miami Veterinary Dermatology for making Orso all better after a year-long battle with some yucky stuff on his skin. Dr. Rosales, who has known Orso since he was a puppy, starting seeing him in January of 2018 and worked with me to develop a plan to get him healthy again after 8 months of treatment with a different vet that wasn’t quite working for him. I was desperate and thought he would never get better; I should have gone to Dr. Rosales from the very beginning. Cultures, biopsies, scrapings, bloodwork, dozens of medicated baths, tens of thousands of milligrams of medication, a new diet and a bunch of vet visits later, Orso got the OK to make the trip with me to the Cane Corso Association of America 2018 National Specialty in June of 2018 to show as a Veteran and he WON! All of this is thanks to Dr. Millie Rosales’ care!
Thank you, Dr. Rosales for making my Buckethead better. Orso is GCH CH Mar e Sol Orso di Costa Bel RN CGC TDI TT and this is the win photo from the 2018 CCAA National Specialty.”
Kodi Kamlani

We were introduced to Dr. Rosales after taking Kodi to our regular veterinarian for several years to treat severe skin problems. Dr. Rosales and the team at Miami Veterinary Dermatology were terrific with Kodi and had the problem diagnosed and solved within six months. We couldn’t be happier as they solved what we thought was not solvable.
Carlissia Ham

Carlissia is a Bassett Hound with black & white fur. She is sweet, loves attention and we consider her our daughter. In April of 2017 she developed a severe ear infection which the local veterinary office treated. Then we noticed her fur falling out, not shedding, falling out. Within two months she developed a horrible smell in addition to the ear infection & fur loss. The local veterinary office started running test. Next she developed lumps under her skin that progressed to hunks of fur with flesh dropping off of those areas. We were referred to Dr. Millie Rosales in the Homestead office by the local veterinary Office. Dr. Rosales saw our daughter in November 2017. At that time she had been tested for every syndrome possible. She looked like she was dying a slow painful death and had trouble walking. We were heartbroken but wanted to try every avenue to help her. Dr. Rosales took her time examining Carlissia very slowly & making detailed observations. We were asking numerous questions. The results were Carlissia had either an auto immune disorder or a form of cancer. Dr Rosales asked to take seven biopsies in different areas of Carlissia’s body. She told us she would call as soon as she had the results.
Three days later she called me with the best news possible. Carlissia had an auto immune disorder. Downside was it would be expensive to treat. She gave me websites to price out some of the medication so I could get the best deal. She called & emailed prescriptions for the medicines and we started Carlissia on them within 7 days. Dr. Rosales told us if the medicine worked that she would take a turn for the better within a month. We saw Dr. Rosales in Homestead in December with Carlissia walking, wagging her tail & covered in a new coat of fur. I could not believe it myself. Her fur started growing back within the second week on the medicine. It has been 6 months now Carlissia is total back to her old self and Dr. Rosales is cutting back on her medication. She is still doing fantastic. Dr. Millie Rosales’ dedication to her patients is unmatched. Whenever I have called or emailed, I have received a timely response from her or her staff. Everyone at the Homestead office is friendly & helpful. They all truly care for the well-being of your pet/family member. I will never be able to find the right words to thank them enough for helping Carlissia Marie.

Mike Digiamberadino

Dear Dr. Rosales and Nicole, This is Colleen Digiamberardino, Mike’s owner. I wanted to give you an update on Mike. He looks better than he has looked in three years! He has no areas of hair loss and his skin is free of white dry areas. He looks amazing! I am continuing the atopica, vitamin E and fish oil as prescribed.
Thank you for your wonderful care of Mike,
Bobo Aloni

My two year old cat, Bobo, was scratching himself constantly and actually made himself bald around his neck. My regular vet said he had allergies and tried all kinds of ointments and then had me put a collar around his neck so he couldn’t scratch. Bobo was miserable, depressed and not playing with any of his toys. A friend of mine told me to seek out a dermatology vet. I went on line and found Dr Rosales. I took Bobo to Dr. Rosales at her Hollywood office where she ran an allergy scratch test on Bobo. The test showed that Bobo was highly allergic to several different things. She suggested putting him on a routine of allergy shots every 21 days. Now Bobo has all his hair back and is playful and happy. He no longer needs to wear a collar and is back to enjoying his play time and life. Not only did Dr. Rosales give Bobo back his physical health, she also gave Bobo back his emotional life. I can hardly believe the difference in my cat when I look back at old pictures. Thank you Dr Rosales for helping Bobo have a healthy and happy life.
Lillie Kucine

Doctor Rosales and her team are my hero’s. Lillie was born with an auto-immune issue and had been sick for most of her life. One day Lillie started to get scabs on her nose and face. We went to her regular veterinarian and he didn’t know why this was happening. Lillie’s skin started falling off in small chunks, leaving raw patches of skin all over her body. I brought Lillie to her doctor several times. After some biopsy’s they couldn’t figure out exactly what was causing this and how to treat it. Lillie was in pain and deteriorating. I was panicked and determined to get her the help she needed. I got on the internet and tracked down Dr. Rosales a dermatologist, specialist for dogs. Dr. Rosales looked at Lillie and knew what was going on. She immediately took Lillie from me and to do some biopsy’s to confirm what she thought was Pemphigus foliaceus. Sure enough, that’s what Lillie was suffering from. Dr. Rosales and her team sent me home with medication and all the information I needed. I knew I was in good hands and they would find a way cure Lillie.
THANK YOU Dr. Rosales and Nicole, her assistant. You diagnosed and treated Lillie, as you held my hand and comforted me throughout the process. I don’t think there are enough words to convey the gratitude I have for you.
