This is Bodhi's Story
When my cat, Bodhi, was suffering from severe allergies, I was determined to find a long-term solution—not just a temporary fix. That’s when I found Dr. Rosales. From the very beginning, she was compassionate, thorough, and completely committed to getting to the root of Bodhi’s health issues.
Through comprehensive allergy testing, Dr. Rosales created a customized immunotherapy serum tailored to Bodhi’s exact allergy combination. It was truly the best decision and investment I could have made for him. After beginning the injections, Bodhi’s transformation has been remarkable. For the past two years, I’ve been administering his immunotherapy, and he has been steroid-free the entire time—happy, healthy, and completely healed from the symptoms that once caused him so much discomfort.
I couldn’t be more grateful for Dr. Rosales’s dedication to Bodhi’s well-being. She has an incredible way with animals and the families who love them. Her knowledge, compassion, and commitment have given Bodhi his quality of life back—and given me immense peace of mind.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Alisha Vera
This is Melody - she is a healthy and thriving young lady
Melody is a wonderful and successful story with Dr. Rosales. She came to her in 02/2021. She was just a puppy but was showing signs of some type of allergy. She would chew her hind legs so much that there were bald.
Patiently Dr. Rosales started to find the reason(s) for her allergies. Her brother, who was from the same litter was perfect and unaffected the way Melody was.
First we ruled out food allergies and then we came to the conclusion that her allergies were environmental. She then started Melody on desensitization shots which have helped not only her skin but also an issue she was having with tear production. According to her ophthalmologist, Dr. Karpinsky, it seems that her shots have also helped her keeping her tear production at a normal level. Today she is a healthy and thriving young lady…
This is Ruthie
“I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Rosales and her team! My cat, Ruthie, suffered for several years with severe itchiness that left her belly, the backs of her legs, and her ears raw and hairless. Multiple veterinarians concluded it was allergies, and after extensive food trials, we determined it was environmental. Ruthie was put on Atopica, which worked initially, but she eventually developed severe GI issues from it.
After trying the limited veterinary dermatologists in the area without success, we finally got in to see Dr. Rosales. Her care and expertise have been life-changing!
With her immunotherapy formulation and guidance, Ruthie’s allergies are now under control, and all of her hair has grown back. She’s a completely different cat—happy, comfortable, and thriving. *I must admit that I was almost hopeless by the time we began this therapy, and I was not very confident it was going to work, but I trusted in the process and was willing to try absolutely anything to help my cat. It takes some time, but worked faster than I expected, that is for sure!
Dr. Rosales and her team are incredibly compassionate, patient, and responsive. They took the time to explain every step of the process and are always available to answer questions or offer support. We are so grateful for everything they’ve done for Ruthie. We highly recommend Dr. Rosales to anyone struggling with pet dermatology issues!”
This is Henry, he is now a happy 2yr old.
He was 6mths old when he developed an abscess just above his left eye. Draining was just the beginning of his health journey. His eye was droopy, and his primary vet drained the abscess and a bacteria continue to grow. I took him to an Ophthalmologist where another surgery was performed to clean out the regrowth of abscess and a skin graft. Henry underwent cytology, tissue biopsy, antibiotics, ointments and this bacteria return opening up the lesion where he was once stitched. It took many months, many second and third opinions with different specialists. One labeled him a “Red Herring Disease”. Another opted to remove his eye, a perfectly working eye.
I reached out to Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in hopes for feedback on Henry and how to help him. I was desperate. All the while my boy was in an E collar, and in his short life that is all he ever knew. Under the advice of my head Opthamologist, she referred we treat him with a Dermatologist. Never a thought Henry’s bacteria was related to his skin. Against my own belief, and because I was afraid of letting my Henry down again, I scheduled and met with the 4th specialists and only Dermatologist ( Dr. Rosales). She was caring, so understanding, so gentle…I knew we were in the right care.
Henry’s before and after pictures make me cry. I imagine the pain he felt. But the compassion by Dr Rosales and her team made it all better. She knew how to tackle this, and the lesion closed never to reopen again. Henry does kitty parkours and is one happy 2yr old. For a long time, his condition was “touch and go”. We were all holding our breaths because all we knew was constant flare ups. We have exhaled, thanks to the knowledge and professionalism found in Dr Millie Rosales. I will be grateful to her every day of his life.
Meet Khaleesi
In June 2020, our cat Khaleesi started having skin flare ups which would lead to loss of fur around his eyes and chin from excessive itching and scratching. As months went on, his flare ups kept getting worse and the only solution the Veterinarian gave us was a Depo-Medrol injection, which did help him temporarily. The excessive itching and scratching would eventually leave him furless with raw bloody skin around the eyes and chin and since September 2020, I found myself taking Khaleesi to the Vet every 8-10 weeks for a Depo-Medrol injection; this went on for two years.
In June 2022, Khaleesi went in for his first visit at Miami Veterinary Dermatology with Dr. Rosales and I was impressed with the thorough examination given and how comforting everyone was. Shortly after his first visit, a biopsy gave us a diagnosis and allowed us to finally help him heal by finding the right treatment for a long-term solution. In less than 3 months after his first visit, Khaleesi’s quality of life improved dramatically, and he has maintained a healthy coat and has been itch free. Khaleesi has been living his best life since becoming Dr. Rosales furry patient and my entire family is thankful and grateful for her and the entire staff at Miami Vet Dermatology. Dr. Rosales is our Superhero, and I honestly can’t thank her enough for all that she has been able to do for Khaleesi. ~ Steph Gaines
Meet Coco
My dog started treatment with Dr. Rosales almost 5 months ago and his improvement has been dramatic to say the least. Prior to my dog starting treatment with Dr. Rosales, I had exhausted all avenues of different treatments with different doctors to no avail. I had lost any expectations of him getting better.
Dr. Rosales was a blessing for my Coco, he has been in treatment for his skin ailments and the improvement has been substantial. Currently his coat is growing back, his hair is smoother and he is starting to look like his old self.
I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude to Dr. Rosales for all her dedication, persistence in finding the correct treatment for my fur baby, she is definitely a godsend.
Thanks so much Dr. Rosales for all your help!
Meet Bela Hernandez
Taking Bela our Bull Terrier to Dr. Rosales was the best decision we could make. Bela had a very bad skin condition due to her being allergic to a ton of things. After having been treated with the proper allergy shots Bela is down to 1 shot a month and barely any flare ups. I am super happy with the results.
Meet Zar Sisalema
This testimonial is a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude with Dr. Rosales. She is an excellent Vet dermatologist, very profesional, and was accurate with the diagnosis and treatment of our dog. Zar is a 4 years old Siberian Husky, very friendly, energetic, who has brought happiness and love to our family. The first time we went to Dr. Rosales’s office, Zar was very sick, with several painful sores, loss of appetite, and unable to walk. She took a skin biopsy and 2 days later called me to say that he has an autoimmune skin condition that requires an strict medical treatment and follow up. Dr. Rosales has been taking care of his skin for about 1 year, and nowadays, he looks healthy and happy again. We are very thankful with Dr. Rosales and Nicole for all their kindness and caring of Zar, and the support they gave us every time we need it.
